Ho Ho Ho...... Surprise
I had a cute little Christmas Letter drafted and all I needed to do was fill in a few blanks and post it on the 26th but all of that got thrown out of the window.... I got a huge surprise Christmas Night..... a few weeks ago my mother called to say that she would be spending Christmas with us but would arrive late on the 25th and if we could celebrate on the 26th. Sure thing, one day more-or-less so Paypay picked her up at the airport and I greeted her when she arrived. We were talking in the entry when all of a sudden I hear "ho ho ho" I turned around and who was standing in the hallway?!?!? my sister, niece and brother-in-law all the way from Quebec. I couldn't believe my eyes and after the initial shock I found out that they had been planning this since September.
In the morning my mom tells Chickpea "I hear something in your room, let's go see what it is" they go up the stairs and she sees Rox then Nan.... needless to say that she was tickled pink and thrilled to see her aunt and cousin.
We spent the morning opening gifts and everyone telling me how over the past 3 months they planned this holiday week. Not only are they here until the 4th but we also got to spend two days in Whislter, BC. We drove up to BC on Sunday and returned on Tuesday.
On Monday Nan and Rox went skiing while Paypay, Chickpea and I went tubing. The grandmother's and Marc spent the day sightseeing. We all met up for dinner and returned to the hotel tired but had an excellent day.
I've had many great Christmases but this is right up there on the list. We now get to spend a week with my sister, mom, brother-in-law, mother-in-law and niece chilling out and having fun.

J'avais une belle petite lettre prete a etre publie pour le lendmain de Noel il ne restait qu'a rajouter quelques morceaux mais je l'ai mis aux poubelle.... J'ai eu toute une surprise le soir de Noel... il y a quelques semaines ma mere m'a annonce qu'elle viendrait passer Noel chez nous mais elle arriverait tard le soir et si on pouvait attendre au 26 pour deballer nos cadeaux. Bien sure, une journee de plus-ou-de-moins pas de problem. Paypay est alle la chercher a l'aeroport et je l'ai acceuilli lorsqu'elle est arrive. Nous etions dans l'entree quand tout a coup j'entends "ho ho ho" je me retourne et qui je vois dans le couloir?!?!?!? ma soeur, mon beau-frere et ma niece en direct du Quebec. J'en croyais pas mes yeux et apres le shock initiale j'ai su qu'il planifie ce voyage depuis septembre.
Le lendemain ma mere dit a Chickpea "J'entends quelque chose dans ta chambre, allons voir c'est quoi." Elles montent au deuxieme et Chickpea voit sa cousine Rox et tante Nancy.... laissez moi vous dire qu'elle etait super contente.
Nous avons passe le matin a deballer des cadeaux et j'ai su l'histoire comment ils ont planifier le tout. Non seulement qu'ils restent jusqu'au 4 mais nous allons passer 2 jours a Whistler, BC. Nous sommes monte dimanche et sommes revenus mardi soir.
Lundi Nan et Rox sont allees faire du ski pendant que Paypay, Chickpea et mos sommes alles faire de la glissade. Les grand-meres et Marc ont visiter le village. Nous nous sommes rejoints pour le souper avant de retourner a l'hotel fatigues mais apres avois passer une super de belle journee.
J'ai eu plusieurs beaux Noels mais celui-ci est en haut de la liste. Maintenant nous allons passer une super de belle semaine avec ma mere, ma belle-mere, ma soeur, mon beau-frere et niece.
