I’ve always trusted my instincts and so far they haven’t failed me too much. 

Saturday night we were coming home after an afternoon out and about.  Paypay was driving and to make a long story short some yahoo hit our car causing some damage to the bumper and a taillight.  No one was hurt, it was 100% the Yahoo's fault and Paypay tried to avoid the collision but was unable to.

So we pull into the next driveway, Paypay gets out to check the damage and I get out to talk to the guy.

Yahoo “Sorry, is anyone hurt?”

Kathou “Everyone is okay, can I get your license and proof of insurance”

Yahoo “Euh…. Well I forgot them at home but can write down the information”

Kathou hands him some paper and a pen.  “Why are you driving around without your license or your proof of insurance?”

Yahoo is busy writing down his information  ”I forgot them at home”

I don’t believe this guy for one minute and say to Paypay “Is there enough damage to call the police?” 

Now the Yahoo gets all nervous and starts telling us these stories and then says “I’ll give you $50 bucks for the damage right now…”

Ah ha, I knew that something was wrong and everything he was telling us was fishy and there were quite a few people in the car.  At this point I just wanted to get away from there and get home.   I took his information and said I’ll get back to you with how much this is going to cost.

I’ve never seen a person get into a car that fast and sped off…… once back home I told Paypay “You know we’ll never see that Yahoo again and we should have taken that $50 bucks…..”

J'ai toujours fait confiance à  mes instincts et jusqu'ici ils m'ont pas trop lachés.

Samedi soir nous revenons à la maison après avoir fait des courses tout l’après-midi.  Paypay conduisait et pour faire une  longue histoire courte un bozo a heurté notre voiture.  Il y a un peu de dommage au bumper et à un feu arrière.  Personne n'était blessé, Bozo était 100% dans le tort et Paypay avait essayé d'éviter la collision mais n’a  pas pu.

Donc nous avons garé les voitures dans un stationnement, Paypay a sortir pour vérifier les dommages et j’ai sortie pour parler au Bozo.

Bozo “désolé, y a-t'ils des blessés ?”

Kathou “Non, donnes moi ton permis de conduire et prevue d’assurance .”

Bozo “Euh…. bien je les ai oubliés à la maison mais je peux noter l'information.”

Kathou lui remet  du papier et un stylo.  “Pourquoi tu conduis sans ton permis ou votre preuve d'assurance ?”

Bozo est occupé à noter son information “Je l'ai oublié à la maison.” 

Je ne crois pas que ce Bozo me dit pour une minute et je dis  à Paypay “Y-a-t’l  assez de dommages pour appeler la police?”

Là Bozo devient nerveux et commence à nous raconter des histoires et nous dis “Je te donne $50 pour les dommages…..” 

Ah ha, je savais qu’il y avait quelque chose de bizarre et tout il nous disait étaient des mensonges en plus il y avait plusieurs personnes dans la voiture.   A ce point là je voulais partir et rentrer  à la maison.  J'ai pris son information et lui dit que je laisserai savoir comment ca va coûter.

Je n'ai jamais vu une personne entrer dans une voiture et sortir du stationnement aussi vite que lui ...... rendu à la maison j'ai dite à Paypay “Tu sais qu’on ne verra jamais ce Bozo et on aurait du prendre son $50..... "
