Snow
Every year we travel to Québec in September/October for our yearly trip to visit family and friends. As part of that trip I always buy Chickpea her snowsuit in Québec since, in my opinion, they are better and cheaper than those we find in our area. Not only that they are much cuter and I know that the kid next door won't have the same coat on.
On Monday Paypay, Chickpea and I headed to the store in search of the suit. There were a lot to choose from and after trying on a few I let Chickpea choose the one she wanted. Luckily it was the one that both Paypay and I preferred. Yesterday I took Chickpea to the shoe store and bought her some boots.
Little did I know that later in the week it would become useful! Last night, we were in the living room having a glass of wine when I looked up and saw that it was snowing!! Chickpea was very excited and wanted to put her new suit on and go play outside. She stayed outside for about an hour then it was time to head to dinner.
In the car ride to the restaurant, Chickpea said to me "Mom, my wish came true." "What was your wish?" "I wished for some snow to play in and it came true." I started to laugh because when I was a kid, my sister and I would ask our parents to box up some snow to bring back home to NJ........

Chaque année nous voyageons au Québec en septembre/octobre pour visiter notre famille et amis. Pendant ce voyage j'achète toujours l'habit de neige de Chickpea au Québec puisque, à mon avis, ils sont meilleurs et meilleur marché que ceux on trouvent dans notre coin du pays. Non seulement qu'ils sont beaucoup plus mignons je sais que l'enfant à côté de chez nous n'aura pas le même manteau.
Lundi Paypay, Chickpea et moi nous sommes dirigés au magasin à la recherche d'un habit de neige. Il y avait beaucoup de choix et après en avoir essayer quelques un nous avons laissé Chickpea choisir celui qu'elle voulait. Heureusement elle a prit celui que Paypay et moi avons préféré. Hier je suis allée avec Chickpea au magasin de chaussures pour lui acheter des bottes.
A ce point la je ne savais pas que plus tard en semaine il deviendrait utile! Hier soir, nous étions dans le salon en prenant un verre de vin quand j'ai regardé par la fenetre et ai vu qu'il neigeait ! ! Chickpea était très excitée et a voulu mettre son habit et aller jouer dehors. Elle est restée dehors environ une heure alors qu'il était temps de partir pour le souper.
Dans la voiture, Chickpea me dit "Maman, mon souhait s'est realisé" "Quel était ton souhait ? " "J'ai souhaité pour de la neige pour jouer dedans et il s'est realisé." J'ai rit parce que quand j'étais petite, ma soeur et moi demandaient à nos parents de mettre de la neige dans une boîte pour rapporter à la maison dans le NJ ........
